Description

I wanted a quilt that would not fade so even though Irish Cream appears to be whole cloth, it is pieced, hand appliquéd and hand quilted. Scale changes in straight grid, stipple quilting, cathedral window strips and trapunto give lots of texture.

I am usually known for my hand quilting but I took classes from Diane Gaudynski & Sue Nickels for machine appliqué & machine quilting then went home and practiced! This quilt is the result of several long, hard years of perfecting my new found skills.
