Description |
This quilt is my original version of land as inspired by an online class I took with Linda Schmidt. I wanted the quilt to show a scene that felt like an enchanted forest. I enhanced the scene by extending it into the borders with free motion quilting.

Description |
I like traditional quilting techniques with an art twist. This quilt is an original design created for a nursery rhyme challenge. I hand ventilated a wig for his hair, needle punched the sheep and beaded the corn. My favorite little boy, my nephew, Nelson, was my model.
