Description


I made this quilt for my daughter, Anna Crawley, after she received 17 blocks as a gift from a wonderful, caring group of ladies, Connie Pockevich, Katrina Rose, Kathie Titus, Judy Zimmerman, Kay Mcloed, Mary George Kipp, Lu Brunnemer and Jude Bently. I added blocks and quilted to finish.

Description

Kathryn used folded freezer paper foundation to piece this quilt. She used her Bernina for the machine quilting with trapunto accents. Final border is her own design.

Description

This piece was started in a class to simply learn curved piecing. HA! It took on a life of its own. Dense machine quilting adds another dimension to the surface--it seems to hold new surprises each time I look at it.

Description

This quilt is a Karen K. Stone pattern using paper foundation piecing. I choose to use Cherrywood and batiks for my fabric choices. I also added the black and white stripe to create a second design within the original design.
