This quilt was inspired by two photos I took in Pennsylvania. When I started in 2006, I had been quilting for about a year and felt I didn't have the skills to get my desired effects. Description |
A 2007 Miami Valley Art Quilt Network Challenge entry using word "masks". Hand appliquéd peacock feather frame surrounds 3 appliquéd trapunto masks embellished with crystals, Glitter thread, and gold-counched cording. Feathers on mask quilted the Glitter.
