Description

On a trip over the Rocky Mountains, I saw a quilt made by a woman from Scotland. She had put "quiltlets" together with beads and I adapted to put my quilt together the same way. I started my collection of bright fat-quarters at every quilt shop on the way west.

Description

I took an appliqué class and got hooked after the first four squares. I then began branching out with techniques and different blocks. When finishing some of the blocks, I wrote some of my favorite scripture verses. This quilt was hand quilted usually traveling in our motor home.

Description

The small reverse appliqué block patterns caught my eye and I enjoyed the challenge, never having done reverse appliqué before. However, I didn't want to do a full quilt of these, so I planned a wall hanging along with some Hawaiian appliqué I had done before. Setting and vine/leaves original.
