Frieda Anderson

Frieda received her BS in art history, with a minor in ceramics, at the University of Vermont.  In her studio Frieda creates contemporary art quilts and one of a kind wearables. Her specialties include, fusing, original pieced quilts, creative machine quilting, and designing elegant and original garments. Frieda lives in Elgin, IL.

Bonnie McCaffery has been quilting for over twenty years.  Her quilts have been seen in numerous publications and she is the author if Fantasy Fabric: Techniques for Layered Surface Design, Fantasy Floral Quilts: Creating with Silk Flowers, and Portrait Quilts: Painted Faces You Can Do.  Bonnie lives in Hawley, PA

Jo Morton

Jo Morton was introduced to quilting in 1979 and she hasn’t put a needle down since.  She is the author of numerous books, a fabric designer for Andover Fabrics and has licensed some of her quilts to Heart of America who publishes framed art prints of her quilts.  Jo lives in Nebraska City, NE.

 


Sue Nickels

Sue Nickels has been quilting for over 20 years, starting by hand and gradually focusing on machine work.  She has taught and lectured nationally and internationally for shops, guilds and major conferences.  Sue has been the recipient of the 1998 Best of Show Award at AQS for “The Beatles Quilt” (made with her sister, Pat Holly), the 2003 IQA Master of Machine Artistry Award and the 2004 AQS Machine Workmanship Award.  Sue lives in Ann Arbor, MI.


Nancy Odom

Nancy Odom is a quilt designer, author, teacher and fabric designer with several books and dozens of patterns in publication, with more always in the works.  Nancy appeared in three episodes of Simply Quilts and on America Sews.  Having completed her first quilt at the age of 17, Nancy credits her grandmother’s love of quilting for inspiring her at such a young age.  Nancy lives in Westfield, IN
