Entry #202 “Victorian Rosette” Jean Lohmar Galesburg, IL

"Victorian Rosette" by Jean Lohmar

Victorian Rosette grew from a combination of two yards of an elegant print and a small, ornamental, ceiling design.  I enlarged the rosette design and the remainder developed as I chose complimentary fabrics to appliqué the rosette.  The variety of quilting stitches is done with 100 wt. silk thread.

Source of Design:  “Victorian Patterns and Designs”, copy-free Dover Book .

Made and Quilted By: Jean Lohmar.
