A helpful neighbor inspired Marilyn Belford to design this lifelike quilt. It consists entirely of commercial fabrics, no paint was used. Marilyn used double-sided fusible web to hold the pieces in place. Then she "thread painted" to further enhance the realistic qualities of the work and add the sparkle of life.
