Whose Woods Are These by Jane Kennedy  

I was inspired by the poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost. The scene of a village nestled into a valley on a crisp moonlit evening. All machine pieced. Nothing was fused.

The consequence of being a gossip becomes disconnection. In James Alexander Thom's, The Red Heart ", he claims some native tribes excommunicate the gossip from any contact with family, culture or land.

A Goldening of Ginkos by Lynn M. Ticotsky  

Based on the asymmetry of Japanese art, combined with a personal affinity for gingko leaves. Stylized gingko leaves to fit into circles ala Japanese shield designs. Stamped real gingko leaf borders. Sashiko stitching and sashiko interpreted into intricately pieced border.
